Georg Schrimpf was patronized by Herwarth Walden and is considered one of the most important representatives of the "New Objectivity" art movement. Franz Kafka held his only reading outside of Prague at the Goltz art and bookstore. Hans Goltz is one of the most important pioneers of modernism. In more than 160 exhibitions, he introduced the Munich public to the avant-garde.
