Original half-parchment portfolio with cover title. - Published in 1923 by Bauhaus-Verlag in a numbered edition of 110 copies. This rare woodcut series is the first portfolio by the then master at the Bauhaus. The individual titles of the series: 1: The Three Valkyries. 2: The Three Brothers. 3: Wieland. 4: Nidudr's Riders I. 5: The Attack. 6: Who Bound the Free Man. 7: Nidudr's Sons. 8: Wieland. 9: Bödwild. 10: Laughing, Wölundr Soared into the Air. The half-parchment portfolios were made by Otto Dorfner. A very fine copy. - Lammek H 77.
