Executed in blue and turquoise ink with decorative elements in gold leaf. Bound in turquoise morocco leather with rich ornamental gilding on the covers and spine. This not-for-sale special edition was produced exclusively for Melchior Lechter. Printed throughout in black, green, and blue on heavy, hand-made old laid paper. Each page is surrounded by a wide border with ornamental scrollwork. Enclosed is the often missing page of the translation of the Latin and Greek Sanskrit inscriptions.
