It was originally intended to be published with the subtitle "The Dramas, Part Two." All prints on cream-colored paper and under original mount. Signed "Max Klinger" lower left in the plate, inscribed "Opus X" lower right and numbered in Arabic. Sheet 6 is additionally inscribed "Intermezzo Adam and Eve and Death and the Devil" in the center and in the plate, and inscribed "cachinnus auditur diaboli" lower left.
