(Signed: Otto Dorfner-Weimar). - One of only 40 numbered copies of the special edition in red morocco leather. The 8 full-page original lithographs were printed on Japanese paper and are all signed by the artist. Rolf von Hoerschelmann (1885-1947) was friends with many Schwabing luminaries, including Alfred Kubin, whose influence is easily recognizable in Hoerschelmann's ghostly scenes for Hoffmann's famous novel. The imprint was signed by the artist. A flawless copy.
