Ehrenstein was one of the central figures of Viennese literary Expressionism. In 1910, the poem "Wanderer's Song," published by his patron Karl Kraus in the magazine Die Fackel, made him instantly world famous. "Kill yourself! my knife says to me. I lie in the mire; high above me, my enemies ride in chariots across the moon's rainbow." A fine copy.
