Däubler, Theodor.

Hymn to Venice.

Berlin, Heinz Barger Verlag (1917)

4 ton. 20 pages. Original red silk binding with gold cover vignette (Lion of St. Mark). With original dust jacket in original slipcase with cover vignette. - Printed by the Cranach Press in 100 numbered copies on Old Stratford laid paper. The imprint was signed by Theodor Däubler. Wartime print by the Cranach Press. Harry Graf Kessler made his press, his workers, and his types available for the production of this work, but otherwise bears no technical responsibility for the printing, as he was unable to supervise it due to his wartime absence. The delicate silk binding, otherwise always in deplorable condition, is preserved in mint condition and with fresh colors thanks to the dust jacket and slipcase. - Müller-Krumbach 26. - Raabe 58/8.
