Printed in 225 copies on Fabriano laid paper. This is one of a few copies of the deluxe morocco edition. The sonnets are a moving testament to Elizabeth's love for her husband, Robert Browning. They date from the winter of 1846-1847, when both lived in quiet seclusion on the Ligurian coast, remembering Shelley and Byron's stay there.
